Aredia Information
Aredia is used to treat hypercalcemia (high levels of calcium in the blood) that may occur with some types of cancer. It is also used to treat Paget's disease of bone and to treat bone metastases (spread of cancer). Aredia is a bisphosphonate. It works by reducing normal and abnormal bone loss, which helps to maintain bone strength. This also helps to reduce the amount of calcium in the blood in situations in which the levels of blood calcium may be too high. Aredia is available as an injection and is to be administered only by or under the supervision of your doctor.

Aredia Side Effects
