Crinone 8% Gel  Information
Crinone 8% is used to treat infertility in women who do not make enough of a certain natural hormone called progesterone. Progesterone works by preparing the lining of the womb to receive a fertilized egg. This hormone is needed to maintain pregnancy.This medication is also used to restore menstrual cycles in women whose cycles have stopped.

Crinone may cause some less serious side effects include:
• breast pain, swelling, or tenderness;
• diarrhea, constipation, bloating;
• dizziness, drowsiness, tired feeling;
• increased night-time urination; or
• joint or muscle pain;
• loss of interest in sex;
• mild nausea, vomiting, bloating, stomach cramps;
• pain during intercourse;
• pain in your vaginal or rectal area;
• vaginal itching, burning, or discharge.
