Anti-malaria drug Lariam (Mefloquine) is an antimalarial agent used to treat or prevent malaria. Lariam side effects that may go away during treatment, include stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach pain, fever, hair loss, ringing in the ears, dizziness, drowsiness, diarrhea, headache, insomnia, strange dreams, or lightheadedness.
