Lotemax eye drops (Generic name: Loteprednol Etabonate Ophthalmic Suspension) is a prescription medication used to treat eye conditions (e.g., allergies, itching, conjunctivitis, redness, swelling) caused by bacterial, certain allergies, surgery or viral infections. Loteprednol belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. It works by relieving swelling and inflammation that cause bothersome eye symptoms. Use Lotemax eye drop as directed by your doctor.

Lotemax eye drops (Generic name: Loteprednol Etabonate Ophthalmic Suspension) is a prescription medication used to treat eye conditions (e.g., allergies, itching, conjunctivitis, redness, swelling) caused by bacterial, certain allergies, surgery or viral infections. Loteprednol belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. It works by relieving swelling and inflammation that cause bothersome eye symptoms. Use Lotemax eye drop as directed by your doctor. Do NOT use Lotemax drops if you are allergic to Loteprednol or other corticosteroids. Do NOT use Lotemax ophthalmic solution if you have had any medical conditions such as cataracts, diabetes, glaucoma (open-angle), herpes simplex, nearsightedness (myopia), recent heart attack, or wear soft contact lenses. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications you use. They may interact with Lotemax drug. Lotemax Loteprednol is NOT recommended for use in children or adolescents. Consult with your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
