Phyllocontin  Information
Aminophylline is bronchodilator which relaxes muscles in the lungs and chest to allow more air in, it decreases the sensitivity of lungs to allergens and other substances that cause the inflammation, and it increases the contractions o the diaphragm to draw more air into the lungs. Aminophylline is usually used to treat symptoms of asthma, bronchitis and emphysema. It can also be used to treat other symptoms and disorders which are determined by your physician.

Phyllocontin  Side Effects
Some side effects which may be experienced when taking aminophylline are nausea, decreased appetite, weight loss, restlessness, tremor, insomnia, headache, lightheadedness, dizziness. If you experience some of the more serious side effects you should stop taking aminophylline and contact your doctor as soon as possible. These serious side effects include seizures, irregular heartbeats, severe nausea and vomiting, and difficulty breathing.
