Taclonex Information
Taclonex (Generic Name: Calcipotriene Betamethasone) is a combination medication of Betamethasone and Calcipotriene used on the skin to treat psoriasis vulgaris in adults. Betamethasone is a topical corticosteroid. It reduces swelling, relieves itching, and constricts blood vessels. Calcipotriene is a form of vitamin D. It works by decreasing the rate of skin cell reproduction. Use Taclonex exactly as prescribed.

Taclonex is for topical use only. Do not use on your face, under your arms or on your groin. You should not use Taclonex Ointment if you have a history of allergy to any of its ingredients; higher than normal levels of calcium in your blood; or Erythrodermic, Exfoliative or Pustular psoriasis. If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while using Taclone Ointment, talk to your doctor before using Taclonex medication.
