How Tarceva Works
Tarceva is a medication utilized to combat non-small cell lung cancer and is also used in the treatment of pancreatic cancer. It works by preventing the activity of a protein called epidermal growth factor receptor, this protein is known to be involved in the growth and spread of cancer cells, and Tarceva works by preventing this protein to spread.
