Tekturna HCT
Information
Tekturna HCT (Generic name: Aliskren and Hydrochlorothiazide) is a prescription medication approved used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Tekturna HCT is a combination of Aliskiren and Hydrochlorothiazide. Aliskiren is an anti-hypertensive drug. It is the first approved direct renin inhibitor (DRI) and works by decreasing substances in the body that narrow blood vessels and raise blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (water pill) that helps prevent your body from absorbing too much salt, which can cause fluid retention. Take Tekturna HCT pills exactly as it was prescribed for you.
