How Quadriderm RF Cream Works
Quadriderm RF Cream is a combination medication used to treat various types of skin infections. It helps to minimize symptoms of inflammation and infection such as redness, swelling, and itching. It also has antimicrobial actions against infection-causing microorganisms. Quadriderm contains three chemicals: beclomethasone dipropionate, neomycin, and clotrimazole. Beclomethasone dipropionate is a corticosteroid, and works by attaching to and blocking the effects of receptors in the body that regulate the release of inflammatory proteins, including lipocortins and leukotrienes. Neomycin is an antibiotic that works by binding to receptors on the bacteria cells and blocking their ability to grow and replicate. Clotrimazole is an anti-fungal medication that works by making holes in the fungal cell membrane, which causes the contents of the cell to leak out. This kills the fungus and effectively treats the infection. All three of these chemicals together allow Quadriderm to treat the causes and symptoms of several different skin infections.
